Meeting format:

There are five meetings throughout the year, held in the College Library

•

Meetings are rotated through the nights of the week - Monday to Thursday, to maximise the possibilities for parents to attend

•

Each meeting would contain a 'focus' topic, as well as ample time for issues to be raised and discussed

•

There would be a "cuppa" after the meetings to foster the development of contacts and networks

Focus areas in past meetings have included Religious Education, Special Needs, Study Skills, Reporting System, Awards System, Careers Week, a talk by the local Police Liaison Officer regarding the realities of teenagers and drinking, and parental responsibilities in regard to alcohol use at parties, and so on.
