The Blessing Day celebrating the official blessing and opening of the
College Redevelopment Project (1996-2002) was truly a day to remember
- a day of community celebration highlighting the talent and goodness
of Bosco students. As on visitor wrote "We are sure we join with
many others in praising the efforts of staff and students in presenting
a wonderful performance, and in enhancing the traditions of the College".
Br Kelvin Canavan, the Executive Director of the Catholic Education Office,
sent his congratulations to the College community and described the College's
facilities as "world class", the Blessing Liturgy as "extremely
moving" and the performances of students as "very classy".
Students are to be congratulated on their enthusiastic participation,
their immaculate presentation and their exemplary behaviour. The many
guests and visitors were genuinely impressed, not only with the College's
"world class facilities" but also with the caliber of the Bosco
students. The students were a credit to themselves and their school.
