Sports Programmes
St John Bosco College offers a number of sporting opportunities:

Weekly Friday Afternoon Sport

Students in Years 7 - 10 participate in either:



Inter-school representative sport via the Sutherland Shire
Shire Combined Catholic Colleges (SCCC); or
Non-representative school-based sport.

Southern Sydney Combined Catholic Colleges Sports Association (SSCCC)

This association provides pathways for students to access State Representation.

 

Students compete in carnivals or trial for teams to represent SSCCC in carnivals and tournaments conducted by the NSW Combined Catholic Colleges Sports Association (NSWCCC);

 

Students competing at the NSWCCC level are eligible to be selected to compete in carnivals and tournaments at the NSW State All Schools Level.

Other Sporting Opportunities

Students also have access to a variety of other sporting opportunities via tournaments, competitions, matches and activities - such opportunities are usually restricted to sports that students do not have access to via SCCC or SSCCC.
